Leaving Korea

We are just wrapping everything up after two years of teaching in Korea. For the past few days we have been running around frantically trying to get everything done and see everyone that we met. We have had some late nights and emotional days, which is a fitting end to this whole adventure. It has been so much fun and will be an experience that we will remember forever! We already miss our students, but are ready for the next big adventure in our lives.

Earlier today, we packed up all of our things and said our final goodbyes to our foreign friends. Then, we met up with our friend Ju, who brought us to the airport. He helped us get situated and then had to take off. Once he left, we kind of realized that we are on our own now. We are excited and nervous at the same time. We are currently sitting in a small coffee shop next to the airport jimjilbang (spa/sauna). Time is already slowing down a little bit and it has been nice to have some downtime for a change. We will rest up overnight here, then it's on to Indonesia in the morning! Let the journey begin!

Starting Our Next Adventure

In two days we are leaving Korea and starting our way home. Our first destination is Bali, Indonesia. From there we are going to travel through:
Singapore
Kuala Lumpur
Thailand
Cambodia
Vietnam
Hong Kong

Once we leave Asia we are headed to South America. We will travel through Peru, Chile, Argentina, Uraguay, Brazil and Costa Rica before arriving back in Minneapolis on January 19, 2012. Follow us on all of our upcoming adventures!
